How can occupational therapy help me or my child?
OT helps you engage in meaningful activities in your life!
Step 1: Connection
Connect with an occupational therapist who will talk with you to learn what is important in your life. What are the meaningful activities in your life that you would like support in?
Step 2: Plan
After taking time to connect, you and the OT will decide if OT is a good fit for you, your child, or your family. If OT sounds like a good fit, you and the OT will make a plan to help you achieve your occupational goals.
Step 3: Action
Once you and the OT have made a plan together, it's time to take action! This step looks different for everyone, because everyone has different goals. The OT will provide you with specific action items to help you reach your goals, and be there for you every step of the way.
